“After witnessing your presentation and being part of your program, I can proudly say that Batangas is a world-class wedding and events destination, all thanks to you. There’s no doubt that Batangueños are not only exceptionally talented but also deliver world-class service,” remarked Vice Governor Mark Leviste during his inspirational speech as the Inducting Guest of Honor at the Batangas Wedding and Event Professionals Association Inc.’s Induction Ball and Fashion Show 2022, titled “Glow: Bringing the Radiance of Live Events Again,” celebrating the resurgence of the events industry post-COVID-19.


The Batangas Wedding and Event Professionals Association Inc. (BWEP) is a non-stock, non-profit organization recognized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Established in 2019, BWEP aims to foster camaraderie among its members in the professional conduct of event-related services across Batangas. With nearly 100 members today, the association promotes a culture of conscientious work ethics and provides an avenue for professional and technical growth to meet the evolving demands of the industry.


Dedicated to delivering world-class quality and equitable events and services in the Philippines, BWEP actively offers mentorship and developmental support through workshops, programs, and activities that inspire business acumen while fostering collaboration among suppliers.


Guiding the organization to new heights are our elected Board of Directors and Officers, who ensure stability and help members reach their full potential. Elections are conducted online annually from mid to late June, with the first online election organized by first ever the Election Committee, led by Ms. Majelle Magpantay Calbes of Gembso Events and Beyond.(photos with names of Bwep Comelec) And here are our elected officers from [year] to the present. Over the years, BWEP has initiated several projects that align with its mission and vision, including “Kontrata Mo, Sagot Ko” in 2021, a virtual workshop focusing on the importance of business contracts, which aims to equip suppliers with essential knowledge for protecting both clients and vendors, especially during unforeseen events like the COVID-19 pandemic. Another significant initiative is the “Well, Well, Well: A Holistic Wellness Seminar,” which emphasizes self-care and mental health awareness. BWEP plans to reopen its membership applications for interested entities by mid-2025.
